Looking Up

Returning today to my recent session with Rose for Bobbin Circular. This dress, scarf, and hat seemed to fit perfectly into the frame with this garage door mural near the shop. And of course Rose’s gaze completes the vibes for this image.

That is Not My Scooter

As I walked with Hector around the square in Andratx, I spotted this Vespa with a window behind it. Complete with potted flowers and wonderful textures on the wall, this scene was needing just one thing. Hector. I think he ended up filling the space in this scene perfectly.

She’s a Rainbow

I’ve said it several times in the past, but I think it bears repeating here that I have some beautiful friends. Sonia is certainly a stand-out example, as you can clearly see in this shot taken in the Turia park here in Valencia. The colors in her wrap/scarf create a lovely frame around her face, which also brings out the color of her eyes.

Conjuring Beauty with Christiana

Christiana creates magic when she’s in front of the camera, as she’s demonstrating here. Her eyes look right through you as she’s partially covering her face with this open weave scarf which puts even more emphasis on her amazing eyes!

Sheila in Sky Blue

Sheila’s so captivating, she makes it super-easy to create compelling portraits. During our shoot in Benalmadena, she was wearing this lovely, light blue, flying dress. For this shot, I asked her to gather up some of the excess material (flying dresses are very long) and wrap some over her head like a scarf. I loved the look and I placed in front a wall where there was a blurry shadow of a tree creating the faint pattern you can see in the background.

Thanks to Anja Ekstrøm Sylvest for putting this shoot together and finding an amazing location!

Beauty and the Beach

I rarely shoot at the beach, but when I do, this can happen :). We met with Barbara just after sunrise yesterday for a session at the beach in Patacona and had a great time playing with the rising sun.
