Nikola’s look here is so engaging and lovely, making this an easy favorite from our recent shoot. To me, color and black and white both have their strengths in this shot. A low shutter speed of 1/40th was used in order to bring up the street light illumination in the background.

My absolute favorite shot from my session with Karina last week. I was going for the classic Hollywood vibe that I love to shoot and between the light, the dress, and Karina’s classic beauty I feel we achieved it.
The dress really wants to be the star of the show here, but Karina’s expression and obvious “fit” shape leaves it playing only a supporting role.
