The Red Chair #4 – Sonia

Sonia’s turn to work with the Red Chair. This Red Chair shot is part of a series of images I’m creating with this distressed, red, metal chair we have. The idea is we place it in different places in the city and the subject uses it as they see fit :). Not surprisingly, Sonia had several ideas, and this is one of my many favorites from our recent shoot.

Sonia’s a wonderful model and she also styled her outfit for this shoot. She’s such a treasure!

Pauline in a Pose

The lovely Pauline N. taking beauty to a whole new level during our shoot on the streets here in Valencia. I met Pauline when a group of us visited a local art gallery where she works. She was very friendly and kind as she talked to us about the works on display, and I couldn’t get over her amazing face. I returned a couple of days later to awkwardly ask her if she would allow me to photograph her. Thankfully, she said yes :). Thank you so much for working with me, Pauline!

True Blue Drue

Dazzling Drue

The lovely Drue Allred lighting up this space during our recent street shoot. A couple of days after our session with the red chair and her violin, we got together for an “on the streets” session. Drue has an amazing natural beauty and she’s very at ease in front of the camera. She actually had her violin with her (thanks Colin!) and we completely forgot to have her break it out and create some images with it on this morning. We’ll have to shoot with her again while she’s here to remedy that 🙂

Lovely Laugh

Our beautiful friend and model Bernice, caught mid-laugh during one of our “on the streets” shoots last year here in Valencia. I feel this shot really sums up who Bernice is. She’s obviously lovely, but she also brings a wonderful attitude and energy, you can see in that brilliant smile! Looking forward to next time, Bernice!!

Timeless Alyona

I love the attitude Alyona is giving the camera in this shot from our shoot here in Valencia earlier this year. The black and white, the setting and wardrobe, and her classic beauty, give this image a timeless look. To me, it could have been taken months, or decades ago and either would be believable. 🙂

It’s Hot Outside
