Karina cutting loose for the camera in this favorite from our “Rockstar” shoot back in February. It looks like a dark venue, but it was shot in the late afternoon, using strobes (AD300pro’s) to diminish the ambient light.

Another favorite from my “rockstar” project with my amazing friend and model, Karina. Thanks to shooting this with strobes, we didn’t need to actually shoot this at night.

And now for something a bit different from me, the “Rock Star”. I reached out to my friend and amazing model Karina to see if she’d like to stage a rock star shoot, and she gladly agreed. Together with Yana Dragomir and Carmen, we set out to create what looks like a view from right at the front of a stage at a show. While the setting looks OK, Karina really sells the illusion with her performance. Thank you so much Karina and to everyone involved for making this happen!
