I’ve said it several times in the past, but I think it bears repeating here that I have some beautiful friends. Sonia is certainly a stand-out example, as you can clearly see in this shot taken in the Turia park here in Valencia. The colors in her wrap/scarf create a lovely frame around her face, which also brings out the color of her eyes.

This was the last image captured with @Drue Allred during our shoot on Sunday evening. With the lens wide open at 1.4, we were able to balance the softbox light to let the evening sun bring some light to the background. After seeing the result, I didn’t feel we needed to shoot any more that evening 🙂

It’s been some time since I posted from this session with our beautiful friend, Elsa, so I’m fixing that today :). In fact, we weren’t even friends at this point, she was simply a client how needed some photos. Of course, it didn’t take long for Elsa, Carmen and I to click, and we’ve been great friends ever since. I’m so thankful she reached out to me to do these images, or we may never have met one of our favorite people here in Valencia
