Into the Light

Bessa lighting up the streets of Valencia in this outfit from Kinnara Valencia. This shot is another example of my philosophy of “shooting in to the light”. If possible, I like the strongest source of light to be coming from behind the subject. It doesn’t have to be directly behind them (or it) but I think doing this adds depth and drama to an image.

I Know How I Look

Again, No

Studio Daydreaming

A favorite from my recent shoot with the beautiful Naiara. This soft lighting is the product of a large 3×4 foot softbox above and at camera left. I second strobe in a Fresnel modifier is behind her at camera left providing the hair light. It’s a simple setup but less can certainly be more as Naiara is clearly demonstrating in this image.
