Stunning Soneczka

Sonia lighting up the studio last year during our first shoot together. Since this shoot we have shot together several times and she’s become one of our best friends here in Valencia. She always brings her best to a shoot and seems to always have a brilliant smile on her face whenever we see her.

Time to Lean

The stunning Sophie Wester from our time shooting here on the streets of Valencia. This alley had recent;y been passed over by a street cleaner and thanks to the cloud cover, we had plenty of time to work with the wet surface before it dried up.

Rose of the Mediterranean

Another favorite from the first day of the Fashion Boot Camp with Anja Ekstroem Academy back in April. Sheila Lazar totally owned the space on deck and maintained amazing focus while the boat rolled over the waves. Adding to the challenge was needing to maintain on hand on the boat at all times limiting her to always holding on in a shot and my having to hold the camera with one hand. It wasn’t easy but it was worth it 🙂

Fun in Fashion

Often the results from fashion sessions have a rather serious and/or distant expression from the models. Here, Yasa is demonstrating these sessions are actually a lot of fun despite the “All-Business” looks we often see. I love her laugh here and it totally sums up how I felt about working with her. She was professional, beautiful (duh!), and great fun to shoot with. Thanks so much, Yasa!

Rooted

My friend and model, Isabel, taking it easy in the shade of this amazing tree near our apartment here in Valencia. (Actually, it was a bit of work for her to find a stable spot to sit). I love the subtle smile she has in this image, along with the strong connection she has to the camera here.

Hair Up?

Jessica lighting up the space in the studio with this favorite from our recent Classic Hollywood style session. She’s not engaged with the viewer here, creating the sense of a candid moment and a story happening just out of the view of the camera. Jess really nailed the look and attitude during our shoot, and she so looks the part of star!
