Black Backed by Red

Another favorite from my recent session with Christina in collaboration with Dolores Costura who provided the dress. The combination of daylight from the courtyard and deep red background of the walls in the background made for some studio level lighting just using the available light in the space.

Vicky Hangin’ Around

I decided to give this shot of the beautiful Victoria a decidedly “vintage film” grade, which I think goes well with the overall feel and vibe of the image. Of course, it really doesn’t matter how I process the image, since Vicky is so captivating! I really hope to work with her again in the future as she has such a wonderful attitude and ideas for shots.

Brilliant Bernice

The beautiful Bernice gracing the space in front of my lens during our recent shoot here in Valencia. This was taken by the Almoina Archaeological Museum taking advantage of a moment of slightly cloudy sunlight. Cloudy or not, Bernice always shines in front of the camera 🙂

Angelic Christina

Amazing Alyona

Last week I had the pleasure of shooting with Alyona here on the streets of Valencia. She and her husband were here visiting from San Francisco, and I couldn’t be happier that they found me and asked to do a session. This shot is available light and processed in Camera Raw. When you find the right spot, time of day, and amazing model, this is what can happen 🙂

Sheila in Sky Blue

Sheila’s so captivating, she makes it super-easy to create compelling portraits. During our shoot in Benalmadena, she was wearing this lovely, light blue, flying dress. For this shot, I asked her to gather up some of the excess material (flying dresses are very long) and wrap some over her head like a scarf. I loved the look and I placed in front a wall where there was a blurry shadow of a tree creating the faint pattern you can see in the background.

Chris in Black within Crimson

The stunning Christina Aries modeling this amazing dress from Dolores Costura during our shoot at the CCCC Museum in El Carmen. This available light shot was taken in the courtyard space which is surrounded by red walls which provided a great backdrop for this angle. I really like how this image came out, and it was only possible with efforts from all involved (listed below)
